Scholarship Description
This scholarship is offered by the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). The Doherty Scholarship (Clinical) is to attract students of high calibre with clinical qualifications to pursue graduate research involving a clinical research project for a PhD degree at the JCSMR.

| Application Process |
1. Selection will be made on the basis of qualifications and research potential;
2. The award will be recommended by the JCMSR Scholarships Committee, comprising the chair of the JCSMR Scholarships Committee, Associate Director HDR for JCSMR, and a panel of four JCSMR academic staff members representing the different departments. The Director, JCSMR, will provide approval for the award;
3. The Selection Committee and the JCSMR Director reserves the right to make no award if it considers there is no applicant of sufficient merit. The JCSMR may also vary the number of awards and/or offer the award at other times in exceptional circumstances or based on the standard of applications or students. |
