Course Description

1. Provide a strong foundation in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of electronic engineering systems; 2. an awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of electronic engineering; 3. an ability to critically analyse and evaluate information and solve problems; 4. an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and a commitment to them; 5. the ability to work and interact professionally as an individual and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams; 6. an understanding of the need to undertake lifelong learning and the capacity to do so; 7. an ability to undertake research in engineering; 8. preparation for future management roles as professional engineers.

Academic Requirements 1. Applicants normally must hold with an average grade of credit or higher: the Flinders University Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science (specialisation E1-E3) or equivalent progress in the Master of Engineering Science or a relevant Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Engineering Science or an equivalent overseas qualification; 2. The Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
