Course Description

1. The Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care in Developing Countries aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to incorporate the principles of primary health care in order to reduce inequalities in health care access and health outcomes, with a focus on developing countries; 2. to understand the relevance of models of Primary Health Care and the social determinants of health in a range of real world and workplace problems; 3. to analyse theoretical concepts relevant to the Primary Health Care approach, and the social determinants of health and well-being.
