The University of Newcastle Scholarship Program Update for 2024 !
The University of Newcastle has made a change to the structure of the Excellence
Scholarship Programs and in addition, we will also be introducing a new
conversion incentive, The Early Acceptance Grant.
Our new Excellence Scholarships will now be awarded within 4 discipline areas and will come into affect from 22 March, 2024.
The updated scholarships will be:
1. Business and Management Excellence Scholarships
2. Health Excellence Scholarships
3. STEAM Excellence Scholarships
4. International Excellence Scholarships
These changes will affect new applications from 22 March 2024, and may apply to some students holding offers to commence in Trimester 2, Trimester 3 and Semester 2 2024.
Please note: Students who have previously received offers
under the current scholarship scheme will retain their original offer, unless
they are eligible under the new scheme for a higher value scholarship.
The Early Acceptance Grant is an additional one off $2500 fee waiver designed to incentivise students to accept their offer within a designated deadline.
